PEMBROKE, Bermuda, Mar 13, 2007 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: RNR) announced today that Tracy Bowden has been promoted to Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Glencoe U.S. Holdings Inc., the holding company for RenaissanceRe's individual risk business, and Chief Compliance Officer of Glencoe Specialty Holdings Inc., the holding company for RenaissanceRe's U.S. insurance entities. Ms. Bowden will continue to report to Richard Primerano and have overall responsibility for the corporate, legal, regulatory and compliance aspects of Glencoe U.S. Holdings Inc.

Previously, Ms. Bowden held the role of Vice President and General Counsel at Glencoe U.S. Holdings Inc. Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Bowden was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at TIG Insurance Company in Irving, Texas, working on compliance, contracts and acquisitions. Ms. Bowden earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of both the Texas Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
