PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 6, 2005--RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: RNR) announced today that William I. Riker, President of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. and President and CEO of Glencoe Group Holdings Ltd., the Company's individual risk unit, will be reducing his workload for a few months to receive treatment for a medical condition. Mr. Riker will remain President of RenaissanceRe Holdings. William J. Ashley, Chief Underwriting Officer of the Glencoe Group and President and Chief Operating Officer of Glencoe Insurance Ltd., will assume leadership of the individual risk unit. He will report to James N. Stanard, RenaissanceRe Chairman and CEO on an interim basis.
