Nicholas L. Trivisonno Joins RenaissanceRe Holdings Board Of Directors

PEMBROKE, Bermuda--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 1, 2004--RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (NYSE:RNR) announced today the election of Mr. Nicholas L. Trivisonno, 57, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACNielsen Corporation, to its Board of Directors at its 2004 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

"Nick's wealth of experience in managing public companies, along with his extensive background in finance and accounting, make him an excellent addition to our Board. Mr. Trivisonno was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ACNielsen from January 1996 through March 2001. From September 1995 through November 1996, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Previously, he had held several positions at GTE Corporation from November 1988 until July 1995, including Group President, Executive Vice President, Strategic Planning, Senior Vice President, Finance, and Vice President and Controller. Mr. Trivisonno began his career as a certified public accountant with Arthur Andersen & Co. in 1968, became a partner in 1979 and was appointed a managing partner in 1986.
